Description

The CMX215 is a pipe-neck condenser microphone fitted on a slim gooseneck with XLR base. It is particularly designed for speech reinforcement systems in a wide variation of applications, such as conference rooms, houses of worship, auditoria, ... or any other kind of speech announcement systems. The back-electret condenser capsule with unidirectional (cardioid) characteristic reduces pickup of sound from the sides and rear, improving the speech intelligibility and eliminating unwanted noise and feedback. The high Max. input SPL guarantees a high quality sound reproduction, even when exposed to vigorous sound. The slim pipe-neck design allows a discrete blending in any possible interior or background, while the flexing gooseneck part allows directional placement. The microphone comes available in two versions with a length of 45 cm and 55 cm, offering a solution for any application specific placement. The shorter version is perfect for placement on tables or desks, while the longer version finds its specific application on altars, lecterns. The included windscreen reduces unwanted and popping sounds.
